IPOH: A teenage girl is in critical condition after suffering from smoke inhalation during a fire at her double-storey house in Taman Suria, Jalan Kuala Kangsar here.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department operations centre officer-in-charge Mohammad Zamri Awang Long said the victim, Nafisa Aleeya Mohd Nazrul, 15, was rushed to Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun for treatment after being rescued at about 12.40am on Friday at about 12.40am.
"Her father Mohd Nazrul Yusof, 44, suffered injuries to his arms and legs and was slightly burned on his shoulder."The man's wife Imeeliza Mohd Rosli, 41, daughters Shahira Najwa, 18 and Afiqah Umairah, 16, and son Mohd Malik Naim, 10, were unhurt," he added."The operation ended at 2.10am," he said.
