A 17-year-old boy was shot outside a Ralphs in Granada Hills. Police are now looking for the shooter.

Police are still searching for a suspect after a teenage boy was shot outside a Ralphs store in Granada Hills Thursday night.The Los Angeles Police Department and LAUSD police both responded to a call from the grocery store just off Zelzah Avenue near Kingsbury Street around 9 p.m. Thursday. Officers said that a 17-year-old boy was shot. Paramedics brought the teen to the hospital in stable condition.

In a message to the school Friday, Franklin High confirmed that the injured teen was not a student at the school. In a statement Friday, GHC said "We are grateful to LAPD and LA School Police, as well as GHC staff, for their rapid response and extensive support provided in this on-campus incident. We are committed to working with local law enforcement and first responders in this ongoing investigation.
