Two Renfrewshire schools are in the running for a top accolade thanks to their “exceptional efforts” to promote the Scots language to the next generation.
The awards, which were first started in 2019, celebrate the importance of Scots language within arts and culture but also within daily life,Both Paisley schools are up for the Scots School o the Year prize, with voting set to close on Sunday, September 10.and arts organisation Hands Up For Trad said: “We ur delichtit tae let ye ken the number o nominees fir the Scots Leid Awards submitit ower aa the sindrie categories haes bin jist grand.
