A former San Fernando Valley teacher looked almost unrecognizable as she appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom March 24, after nearly 17 months behind bars. Colleen Jo Matarico has been accused of raping one of her 13-year-old students in 2025 as well as supplying the boy with marijuana. Matarico is expected to be back in court on April 1.
