The 'Espresso' singer took the Eras Tour stage on Saturday to sing a medley of songs alongside Swift.
They're working late, cause they're both singers. It was a reunion between two blonde pop stars with bangs on Saturday night after Taylor Swift surprised the audience by welcoming the Short n’ Sweet star Sabrina Carpenter to the Eras Tour stage. While performing night two of three at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Swift made it to her surprise song portion of her tour, where she typically plays an acoustic or piano version of songs not on the setlist.
“What are you doing? Why aren't you here with us?” She then asked if Carpenter could “come down to the stadium real quick,” before Carpenter emerged on stage. Carpenter was welcomed back to the familiar stage where she and Swift launched into a mash-up of her songs, “Please, Please, Please” and “Espresso.” Swift, who was playing guitar, then effortlessly transitioned into Swift's song, “Is It Over Now?” Carpenter wore a white babydoll dress and sparkly silver high heels.
