There's a lot going on this weekend in Chicago that will draw in a huge amount of visitors. Taylor Swift will bring thousands into the city with her three sold out shows at Soldier Field. The James Beard Awards are also coming to the city Monday along with The American Society of Clinical Oncology convention.is anticipating one of its busiest weekends of the year as "Swifies" flock to the city for a three-day frenzy of sold-out shows.
Taylor Swift will play to a packed stadium at Soldier Field Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend. The shows begin at 6:30 p.m. June 2-4. The doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the parking lots opens at 2 p.m. All parking on the Soldier Field campus is sold-out. Additional parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis at the McCormick Place Parking Lots accessible from 31st Street.There are several other events happening this weekend across the city.
Vehicles will be able to access the area on Columbus Drive at Balbo beginning at 10:30 p.m., no earlier. Family and friends picking up must stay with their vehicle while in the designated area. There will be security staff available after the shows to guide fans to the rideshare and parent pickup area.
