Originally based on a book, “Friday Night Lights” was also a 2004 movie led by Billy Bob Thornton, Garrett Hedlund, Tim McGraw and Amber Heard.that a “Friday Night Lights” reboot series will air on Peacock. It will come from original showrunner Jason Katims, original series director Peter Berg, and producer Brian Grazer. Berg and Kitsch are currently working together again on “American Primeval.”
