She also recognizes the benefits of a short ice bath, noting that it can help reduce muscle soreness, inflammation, improve blood flow, and increase alertness. On the other hand, jumping in a sauna can promote relaxation, improve circulation, and reduce stress. Even now, the choreography for her shows is still a big part of her fitness routine, which is evident in her high-energy performances. While you may not be in the position of performing on stage for thousands of screaming fans, you can still get a McRae-approved workout in with strength training and cardio. McRae's favorite workouts include weights, cardio, and dance classes. She enjoys training with her friends at Alo, an invite-only workout space in Beverly Hills frequented by celebrities like Hailey Bieber and Glen Powell. McRae told Women’s Health that Alo is 'like the social part of our year.' She also likes to take Barry's Boot Camp classes when she's on tour, which combine 25 minutes of cardio with 25 minutes of strength training. At the end of the day, McRae's fitness routine is all about building stamina, she told Women's Health. And as a dancer, her performances take a lot of careful preparation. 'You have to make sure that you're learning how to breathe from your diaphragm and your cardio up, which is sometimes difficult on tour,' she said.
