We only wish they had come sooner.County Commissioners last week approved a request from the sheriff’s office to seek information about implementing a few initiatives that could help the department better serve the community.
In the coming months, we’re hoping commissioners will push the sheriff’s office to follow through. As with all policies, proper execution is everything. Exploring good ideas is great on paper — the trick will be ensuring they actually have the desired effect.
