One person has been arrested but police believe there are multiple victims.

Authorities have arrested a woman accused of abuse and neglect at an unlicensed adult care facility in Tarrant County, police say.

She was arrested Feb. 15 and was at the Tarrant County jail Tuesday evening, according to online jail records. Her bail is $750,000.Becquer and her staff are accused of improper care of clients, attempting to cut off communication with family and making purchases with clients’ money without their knowledge or consent, police said in the release.

She described multiple instances of abuse or neglect, including staff not changing her diaper, which she requires because of medical condition, the affidavit stated. “When made contact with the victim, they could immediately smell an odor of urine and feces,” the affidavit stated.The woman also reported that “she cut her own wrists hoping someone would call 911,” the affidavit stated. Officers observed abrasions on the woman’s wrists. Authorities did not find any record of the Becquer’s staff calling 911.
