A community living company in North Texas is under fire after allegations of abuse, neglect, theft, and fraud toward clients.

The Arlington Police Department has arrested a woman and is searching for more unlicensed community living homes following reports of alleged abuse, neglect, theft, and fraud toward clients throughout Tarrant County.

The investigation was prompted by several allegations of neglect, theft, fraud, and abuse that have been linked to Becquer and her company's assisted living homes. "And they misused this information on wills, on credit card applications, and to obtain things such as vehicles," said Lt. Kimberly Harris with Arlington PD.Arlington police said investigators also believed staff would drug clients each night with a narcotic and that they didn’t provide items like wheelchairs to clients with disabilities – leaving one man scarred from having to crawl around a home where he was living.

Arlington police now say this home was one of five unlicensed community care homes in Tarrant County run by Becquer.Officers are asking the public to help them find more homes that may be under Becquer's company. They would also like to speak with current or past Love and Caring for People LLC clients and their family members.
