The Minnesota-based retailer on Tuesday announced the launch of its"Baby Boutique" in nearly 200 stores, including nine in Illinois. Billed"thoughtfully designed, specialty-style shopping experience," the boutique will feature nearly 2,000 new products.
Target said the selection includes"thoughtfully-curated new items and exclusive finds guests won’t see anywhere else," such as:Wellness offerings from Nemah, Tubby Todd, Freestyle and AmaraExpanded offerings from Little SpoonThe boutiques will feature more interactive displays, allowing parents to compare big-ticket items, including car seats and strollers, side-by-side. "With curated products and more interactive displays, parents can approach big purchases with less guesswork and more confidence," the company said in a news release. Target also announced the expansion of its free appointment-based baby concierge service to stores -- to help parents answer questions on bassinets, monitors and more.
