Takealot’s sale will include special early access offers for those subscribed to its recently-launched subscription service.
South Africa’s biggest online retailer, Takealot, and several other major stores have confirmed they will be offering Black Friday deals in 2024.
Takealot said shoppers can expect deep discounts throughout the Blue Dot weekend, followed by more deals on Cyber Monday and Takealot Tuesday. The store will be adding new offers every day. With regards to tech deals in particular, Takealot said shoppers could expect discounts on Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Lenovo, and Kindle products.
It offers free fast delivery and collections on select items, with a monthly price starting at R39 for the Standard plan. In addition, Premium subscribers can get up to 10 heavy items delivered for free, compared to paying the typical bulky item charge of R199.Takealot will also be running its 24-hour live shopping event on social media, in partnership with major brands. This will run from one minute past midnight on 29 November.The tech-focused store will be running its offers from 00:00 on Friday, 29 November, until the end of Monday, 2 December.
Massmart, owned by US retail giant Walmart, owns and operates Makro, Game, and Builders stores in South Africa.
