Today, Kham's lawyers at DPN Company issued a statement confirming he was back on home soil.
"We share this happy news that Mr Chau Van Kham is well and has returned to his family today," they said in a statement."We thank all well wishers, however, the family asks for privacy at this emotional time of reunion." Kham's representatives thanked efforts from the Australian government, his extended legal team, and "many organisations and individuals in Australia and all over the world" for their efforts in lobbying for his release.Continue reading
