North Olmsted police said while the thief took money from a big corporation, 'next time it could be yours or the mom and pop store you go to.'
NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio - The man accused of stealing $1,300 from Walmart is on the loose, North Olmsted police stated, and detectives need help identifying the suspect caught on camera.
Police said the suspect grabbed the cash from the drawer at the Walmart Supercenter customer service at 24801 Brookpark Rd. “So this guy here, he doesn’t think the rules apply to him. In his world he can take what he wants...” NOPD shared on Facebook. “Now, we know what some will say, ‘It’s a corporation,’ ‘It’s big business.’ With a high degree of certainty I can say it doesn’t matter whose money it is. Next time it could be yours or the mom and pop store you go to. You didn’t take it. You know why? Because there are rules in society and you know better.
Take a close look at the surveillance photos of the suspect shared by the North Olmsted Police Department on Mar. 15: If you recognize this suspect or have any other information on this crime, call NOPD at 440-777-3535.“Thieves are among the worst. Hopefully his next picture here will be his mugshot,” NOPD stated.
