Police say school search was completed, no arrests made
PHOENIX — Phoenix police are asking the public to avoid the area of 48th Street and McDowell Road amid a shooting investigation.An ABC15 photojournalist at the scene saw a man who appeared to be a victim of a shooting. Police say that the man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said before 8 a.m. that, “Officers will begin to narrow down the affected area that will be shut down. As the school opens up parents’ reminded that the neighborhood will still have portions shut down due to the ongoing investigation into the shooting.”School administrators were reportedly notifying families regarding the opening of the school.
