On Aug 26, a young male stole a gold chain from Delitzel Jewelry in North Austin; $1,000 reward for tips.
Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a theft at a North Austin jewelry store back in August.The Austin Police Department says around 2 p.m., the suspect entered the store located at 917 West Anderson Lane, asking about a gold chain. As an employee presented the chain, the theif snatched it and fled.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 16 to 17 years old, standing between 5'5" and 5'6" tall, weighing about 130 lbs., with a thin frame. He had a goatee, short black hair, and was last spotted in a white t-shirt and black basketball shorts featuring a red and white stripe.Anyone with information can anonymously make a report through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program, either online at austincrimestoppers.org or by phone at 512-472-8477.
