A suspect in a Montgomery teen’s murder, who posted bond and was released from jail Wednesday night, is back in jail after a judge amended her bond order.

However, according to court filings, Judge Reid amended her order Thursday morning to say that the suspects must pay 25% of the full bond amount in cash before they could be released. The bond was set at $750,000. The stipulation that 25% be paid in cash means the defendants would need to put up approximately $190,000.
King-Sheppard’s attorneys provided a statement in the court filings in protest of the decision. It reads:
