Officials with the Payson Police Department said a pickup truck crashed into a "young lady's surprise Christmas present" just before 9:30 a.m. on Christmas Day, before fleeing the scene. The pickup truck allegedly hit the car while it was parked on the street near the Payson fire station, and crashed into a front yard. The homeowner confronted the driver, and they "fled at a high rate of speed," according to the police department's social media post.Man killed after car strikes him in hit-and-run at Salt Lake intersection Police asked for help in identifying the suspect, describing the truck as a "white newer model Ram pickup with tinted windows." The homeowner believed the truck's license plates could be from Idaho.
