Sur La Table, a national chain specializing in cookware and culinary goods, is closing its Dallas Knox Street location in January 2024. The company will continue to operate stores at Preston Royal in Dallas, as well as locations in Southlake and Fort Worth. This closure marks another instance of retailers adjusting their footprint amidst challenges from online competition and evolving consumer preferences.

The Sur La Table closure also comes amidSur La Table is not currently planning any new locations in the area, the spokesperson said. The website said the store at 4525 Cole Ave., Ste. 190, closes permanently Jan. 25.“Our team is constantly evaluating how to best reach our customers, while providing a full range of offerings in engaging centers — from retail to cooking classes and events,” the spokesperson said in the statement.
