Sisters Anna Tomotaki Montoux, Sophia Tomotaki and Leah Tomotaki celebrate their “sister Christmas” time while doing last minute shopping along Knox Street in Dallas on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024.Placed among popular areas like Uptown, Highland Park and other key hubs, the district is seeing more shoppers – and not just from nearby neighborhoods.“There’s a different vibe on Knox Henderson that’s more urban,” said Bob Young, Weitzman executive managing director. “It’s not as spread out.
It’s got some vintage architecture and space. And then it’s now got some new, new stuff that’s pretty high end.”The mixed lineup of shops feature popular names and local brands like clothing, electronics and other offerings that speak to the area’s design and furniture tradition. He compares Highland Park Village to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Calif., and likened Knox-Henderson to nearby, which provides clothing and gear for hunters. It recently opened a new site on Knox Street and relocated its hub from Colorado to North Texa
