Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator and Super Bowl winner Frank Reich is back in the NFL with the New York Jets.

Tim Hawk | For NJ.com Former Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich has been hired by the New York Jets in the same role, the franchise announced on Wednesday morning.
Reich was viewed as a potential replacement for Kevin Patullo after the Eagles removed him from his role as offensive coordinator last month.But Reich would have made sense on a lot of levels for the Eagles. Despite not calling plays — head coach Doug Pederson handled those responsibilities — Reich was the team’s OC in 2016 and 2017. Reich was an integral part of Philadelphia’s Super Bowl LII title. Reich also has an extensive history with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni. They worked together on the San Diego Chargers’ staff from 2013-15. And when Reich left Philadelphia to become the Indianapolis Colts’ head coach in 2018, he hired Sirianni as his OC. Reich had a 41-43-1 overall record in head-coaching stints with the Colts and Carolina Panthers .
