Trent Dilfer, who guided the Baltimore Ravens to its first Super Bowl title in 2000-2001, accepted the job at UAB on Wednesday. He has no prior college football coaching experience.
UAB officially namedits next head football coach on Wednesday after multiple reports indicated the two sides just had to cross some Ts and dot some Is to get the deal done.
