A new two-day music festival called Sunset: The Festival will take place in San Antonio at The Espee venue. The festival will feature headliners Spoon and Santigold, alongside other artists like Band of Horses, Warren G, and Aly & AJ.
Spring break just got a little louder in San Antonio. The Espee , the downtown music venue at St. Paul Square, will host a new, two-day music festival March 7-8 called Sunset: The Festival. The festival headliners will be Spoon , the critically acclaimed Austin rock band, and indie dance singer Santigold. Also on the lineup are Seattle rock band Band of Horses, rapper Warren G and sister duo Aly & AJ.

The festival takes its name from the Sunset Station train depot, which was located near the music venue. The festival is being produced by ATG Entertainment, which operates The Espee as well as the Majestic and Charline McCombs Empire theaters. “This musically diverse lineup captures every reason why I believe San Antonio is the heart and soul of Texas and underscores the city’s continued priority of music and culture,” Kevin Couch, director of programming at ATG Entertainment, said in a statement. Two-day passes for the festival go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at theespee.com. An ATG Entertainment pre-sale takes place at noon today
