Captain Hlompho Kekana stole midfield possession away from Stellenbosch’s teenage debutant Ally Mshengi to set up the goal with Sphelele Mkhulise and Sibusiso Vilakazi setting up an easy finish from close range for Zwane, who now has nine league goals this season. Home coach Steve Barker rung the changes after the 3-0 hiding at Maritzburg United in their last game, almost catching Sundowns unawares by picking fringe players Ashley du Preez and Lelethu Skelem, whose speed troubled the visiting defence.
