Second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to close the gap at the top of the league when they take on Stellenbosch tonight

Tonight Mamelodi Sundowns will have a chance to narrow the gap between themselves and log leaders Kaizer Chiefs to only four points.

Sundowns can now smell blood after Chiefs dropped three points at the weekend when they lost 1-0 to AmaZulu at home. “We are back to the story of three tournaments in six or seven days,” said Mosimane ahead of tonight’s clash. “Stellenbosch is a difficult team to play and their position on the log says a lot as they are not fighting relegation for now. They have done exceptionally well and you can never take them for granted,” Mosimane said.“They gave us a scare in the first round when we had to come back from behind to beat them.”
