Students in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood took to the streets to denounce violence in their community.
Englewood students 10th annual Walk for PeaceCHICAGO --The Academy of St. Benedict the African hosted its annual Prayer Walk for Peace on Thursday morning.
"I was really excited to do this. It really means a lot because it brings back memories of people I've been with and younger kids that respect me and look up to me," high school student Lakwon Garland said.
