A truck driver has been charged over a crash that has left one student fighting for life and another seriously injured outside an Adelaide school. 7NEWS
The pair were both taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, with the boy in a critical condition and the girl in a serious condition.The 59-year-old truck driver was not injured in the crash. He was arrested and charged with two counts of causing injury by dangerous driving.
Two teenagers were injured when they were hit while crossing the road to school.Kensington Rd is closed to all traffic between Portrush Rd and Hackett Ave while police examine the scene.Police Superintendent Narelle Kameniar said early investigations suggest the truck may have gone through a red light.“This is an absolute tragedy,” she said.
