“It’s not as easy as it looks to learn a dance routine is I think what we’ve all learnt from the experience.”
Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas starts his Strictly Come Dancing journey on screen this weekend. But his very first attempt at a dance routine came back in 2015 - when the MEN was there to capture every brilliant move.
In the video, which you can watch above, the dads are seen busting out a serious of street dance moves, including some robots, caterpillars and even some back flips. Towards the end of the routine Ryan and another dad whipped off their t-shirts to reveal tight lycra underwear. Adam’s wife Caroline runs the ABCD Dance School in Altrincham with fellow dance instructor Andrea Brunton - who both helped to choreograph the dads’ routine which went down a storm at the ball. Back in 2015, Adam's son Teddy was just a toddler, while Ryan was cheered on by his daughter Scarlett who was just six at the time.
He is currently in the midst of a hectic work schedule - combining filming on Waterloo Road as popular character Donte Charles, while starting the rehersals for Strictly Come Dancing. The launch show takes place on Saturday, September 16, when fans will get to discover which professional dancers the celebrities are teaming up with.
