Staff at the store posted an update on Facebook Thursday afternoon, expressing gratitude to everyone who shared the story and provided valuable tips. 'Booberry is home,' wrote Cats of Lynnwood PetSmart on Facebook. ' Lynnwood Police Department followed up on a number of tips and found him safe. They have just returned him to us.
'According to the Lynnwood Police Department, the theft occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One of three suspects is believed to have placed the kitten inside his jacket and fled the store while PetSmart staff were momentarily away, retrieving Booberry's adoption papers. Authorities are actively investigating the incident and urging anyone with information to come forward.Individuals with relevant details are encouraged to contact investigators at 425-670-5628 and leave a voicemail.
