A local nonprofit is asking for the community's help after an 11-week-old kitten was allegedly stolen from a Lynnwood PetSmart on Tuesday.Instagram page. Whiskers In Need is partnered with Adams County Pet Rescue to provide a safe space for rescued cats to live and meet potential adopters at the PetSmart.
The organization said some "nice young men" stole the kitten from the adoption center. In the time it took a volunteer to turn away to get an adoption application for them, WIN said the men apparently stuffed the kitten in a jacket. The male kitten was described as the "absolute sweetest, most cuddly, most people-oriented kitten you could ever meet" by WIN. The kitten is 11 weeks old and has never been away from his siblings.WIN said the kitten is microchipped, there is security footage that is being reviewed, and the police are involved.
