Germany is within touching distance for the Scots but Clarke isn't letting as much as a smile out until his side get there.
Steve Clarke is happy if the Tartan Army are happy but the Scotland boss isn't packing his bags for Germany just yet - urging his players 'don't get carried away.'
'We're the famous Tartan Army and we're going to Germany' has been the terrace soundtrack to a superb qualifying run but Clarke, whose side sit on 15 points and way out in front in Group A, isn't letting himself plan for the tournament yet. He told Viaplay: "The table looks pretty nice. A big win for Spain tonight and we go there next, that'll be a tough game.
"The supporters can get carried away. That's what supporters are allowed to do, they're allowed to dream and think we're already there. We have to remain professional, we have to look to the next competitive game which is Spain away, but we also have to look to Tuesday. We have quite a nice friendly match against England, we have to be ready for that as well.
