Ahsoka's place in the Star Wars timeline is something of a mystery. There have been claims Ahsoka is concurrent with The Mandalorian season 3 meaning there are few crossovers between the two shows set in the New Republic Era.
Some Star Wars fans think they've figured out a direct link between Ahsoka episode 5's ending and The Mandalorian season 3, episode 1. In Ahsoka, the hero hitches a ride through hyperspace on a purrgil to follow the pathway to Peridea.
This theory would fit surprisingly well with the overall Ahsoka timeline. Ahsoka seems to pick up shortly after the events of The Mandalorian season 2, given Ahsoka Tano has only just begun to investigate the knowledge she acquired from Morgan Elsbeth. Now, though, events are catching up. Was Grogu Sensing Ahsoka, Not The Purrgil? Because Grogu is Force-sensitive and has met Ahsoka Tano before, it’s not hard to believe that he sensed her while flying through hyperspace. It's even possible Ahsoka's Force presence has been heightened after her transformation into Ahsoka the White. This could explain how Grogu sensed her from such a great distance.
Carson Teva's appearances have left Ahsoka's timeline confused, but this theory would clear up much of the ambiguity. It raises the possibility Ahsoka actually concludes before the events of The Mandalorian season 3's finale, which could even mean Grand Admiral Thrawn has secretly returned by the time the Mandalorians retake Mandalore. If that is the case, Ahsoka is destined to fail in her mission to prevent his return.
