EXCLUSIVE: StarTrekProdigy stars Ella Purnell & brettgray want their own StarTrekLowerDecks crossover, and they have some animated ideas!
Star Trek: Prodigy stars Ella Purnell and Brett Gray pitch their ideas for their own crossover with Star Trek: Lower Decks. Prodigy is the second animated Star Trek series on Paramount+ but, unlike the comedic Lower Decks, Prodigy is aimed at all ages and focused on introducing Star Trek to a new younger audience. Purnell and Gray star as Gwyndala and Captain Dal R'El, respectively.
Ella Purnell: Lower Decks. I think it's so funny. I think it'd be fun. I don't know, do we do like a live-action crossover or is it like an animated crossover? Because it would be kind of cool to mix the two animation styles. I don't know how we would do that. I love the way Prodigy looks.
