Dukat was a Cardassian, one of the species that dominated my planet, and he was the worst. He was the worst of the worst. And they wanted me to have an affair with him. I was like, “Other Cardassians, absolutely. Not him. Never him." So I actually won that one… Maybe they wanted to turn his character… But I couldn’t see it… So it was my mother. They had a relationship.
