The survey interviewer supports the implementation of the overall program of data collection for the Department of Epidemiology. This role specifically supports the St. Jude LIFE program.
Main tasks are contacting and scheduling interview appointments with participants and conducting telephone interviews, and performing data entry, electronic data collection, and tracing to support clinical research and ensures efficient, timely delivery. You will also prepare files for the various studies and work a flexible schedule to accommodate research participant schedules. You must be able to work one weekday until 8 pm and a combination of 8 hours on Saturday and/or Sunday.
What you'll need: A high school diploma or GED and some experience in a research or medical/hospital environment is highly preferred.Maintain sufficient inventory of material, supplies, and equipment for performance of clinical research-related activities. Assist with the dispensation and receipt of study-related information .Escalate issues and problems according to set standards and processes.Shows eagerness to learn from different avenues.Has clear, concise communication in both verbal and written communication.Manages own time well to plan work and meet daily task needs.Shows attention to detail, produces quality work on time.
Applies basic knowledge of clinical study support processes in delivery of routine tasks with guidance.In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
