Squid Game is incredibly binge-able and I watched the entire series in a mere few days, unable to unglue my eyes from my screen and eager to find out what happened next. It is filled with tense, suspenseful challenges and no character is safe from being eliminated from the game, so you better be careful who you get attached to. On a deeper level, it is a sobering social commentary that will stick with you long after the credits roll.
Really great premise that executes it almost to perfection, except for one fatal choice that brought the entire experience down a bit too much. So much discourse came out about the truly terrible acting of the wealthy dudes that were betting on the games. Of course that is true, but my actual gripe with those moments is how much it defuses the tension of the games being played. It blows my mind how much it changed my opinion.
