'I always want to make [a sequel[ pretty quickly.'
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Spy Kids: Armageddon director Robert Rodriguez is already discussing the possibility of a sequel. The upcoming Netflix movie is the fifth movie in the franchise, which began in 2001 with the original Spy Kids. All five movies have been directed by Rodriguez, though only the first three centered on the same family.
I always want to make [a sequel] pretty quickly, but you really can't film them until the summertime because the kids have to do schooling no matter what, but they have more school that age during the nonsummer break. You would only get them for an hour or two set. You get them for about four or five hours on summer break, so it's a little easier to film them. That would be great.
