Lidia Thorpe’s father, Roy Illingworth, has refuted the Senator’s claims that she was raised oppressed, claiming his daughter was “spoilt” growing up as a child.
“She never went without anything growing up,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“We were always either in rented houses, wasn’t in commission houses, we rented houses, so she was spoilt – she got everything she wanted, and she knows that too.”
