PETALING JAYA: All Umno division chiefs nationwide have been summoned to a special meeting on Thursday (Feb 27).
announced that all its division chiefs nationwide have been called to Kuala Lumpur for a special meeting with its president and its supreme council members at 3pm at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced his resignation as prime minister on Monday following which the Yang di-Pertuan Agong then appointed Dr Mahathir as interim Prime Minister to allow him to continue managing the country. However, Dr Mahathir in a televised address said that he wished to lead a non-partisan administration which prioritises the national interest.
