Grady Kick, manager of the Spanish Fort Toros JV Basketball Team, unexpectedly scored three three-pointers in the final minutes of a game against Baldwin County, becoming an instant viral sensation.
Spanish Fort sophomore Grady Kick is the manager of the Toros JV Basketball Team. In the final two minutes of the Tuesday night’s game against Baldwin County, Kick was given the opportunity to get in on the action and set his feet on the court. Kick immediately stunned everyone in the crowd when the ball was passed to him and drained a three pointer. While this alone could be a Cinderella Story for Grady it doesn’t end there.
The ball was passed his way two more times and he sunk two more threes. It was a story book night for the sophomore manager. As the Toro’s manager, kick goes above and beyond. He attends and participates in every team workout, every team practice, and is there with his team for every game. Most nights after everyone has wrapped up from practice and headed home for the evening, Grady is still hard at work ensuring that all the equipment and jerseys are returned before he wraps up for the night
