SpaceX's highly anticipated launch of its mega-rocket Starship was delayed Monday due to last-minute technical issues. The countdown reached the 40-second mark before being halted as engineers grappled with problems affecting the 403-foot (123-meter) rocket, the world's largest and most powerful. Starship was scheduled to lift off from the southern tip of Texas, carrying four mock satellites for a space-skimming test flight.
This launch marked a comeback attempt following a previous test flight that ended in an explosion over the Atlantic in January, with flaming debris raining down over the Turks and Caicos islands.
