An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.BATTERY: Majed Abousweilem, 20, Alsip, was arrested and accused of assault and battery May 7 in the 3600 block of 122nd Place after pushing another person to the ground, causing him to hit his head, and then driving a car into the front yard in an attempt to hit the person, police said.
BATTERY: Jermaine T. Jackson, 44, Chicago, was arrested and accused of aggravated battery to a police officer May 9 at Chili’s Grill and Bar, 2401 95th St., after approaching the officer investigating an incident and spitting in his face, police said. ROBBERY: A 73-year-old homeless man told police one of several men who approached him hit him on the head with a wooden object while taking his cellphone and wallet May 10 in the 9100 block of Kolmar Avenue. The victim/complainant, who lives out of a car, said the men initially demanded $500.
