Abdelsalam Osman M.D., a vascular surgeon, recently joined the Cardiovascular Institute at Southeast Health.
Dr. Osman comes to Dothan after completing a fellowship in vascular surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He did his residency in general surgery at Abington-Jefferson Health in Abington, Pennsylvania. Dr. Osman earned his medical degree and completed an internship in his native country of Sudan.Dr. Osman offers medical and surgical management for patients with complex and serious vascular diseases. Some of the conditions Dr. Osman treats are peripheral artery disease, aortic disease, mesenteric disease and carotid artery disease. The Cardiovascular Institute is at 102 Doctors Dr. on the Southeast Health campus. In addition to vascular surgery, the clinic specializes in interventional cardiology, EP cardiology and cardiovascular surgery.
