Rangers expect to let striker Kemar Roofe go when his contract expires at the end of the season – and he could even leave in January,The striker, who turns 31 in the new year, joined the Ibrox club on a four-year deal in 2020 for a fee of around £4.5million.has been plagued by injuries throughout his time with the Glasgow giants and missed most of the 2022-23 campaign with a serious knee injury.
While Rangers would be open to letting Roofe depart in January, he is on a big salary and one of the club’s highest earners – which makes a mid-season move unlikely. Clement has several other striking options to call on after a flurry of transfer activity in the most recent summer window.
