Melissa Stanton, a shelter worker who has been there for over 10 years, said she has been feeling sick ever since the board met about finances, and she is afraid she will no longer have a job in a few months. “I’ve been at SOS Animal Shelter for 10 years,” expressed Stanton. “We’re passionate about the animals that come through these doors.”
