No major damage or injuries have been reported.
For those who did get the warning, the alert came in similar to an Amber Alert or an excessive heat warning. It read: "Earthquake Detected! Drop, Cover, Hold On. Protect Yourself." ABC7 has compiled a list of items that are important to have in your earthquake kit so that you're prepared for"the big one."
