Notably, Solo Leveling has also been adapted into a successful anime series.Recently, a reliable leaker named @ggonigone reported that the live-action series adaptation Solo Leveling has received a filming update, which has in turn suggested a potential release date window for the series.
The leaker suggested that the live-action series may have seven parts. Moreover, filming might begin in early May 2026 and last about three to four months. Netflix has not issued a statement on this, however. Based on the leaker’s information about the project’s filming, a report byAs of now, Netflix has only confirmed the lead cast of the Solo Leveling live-action series. The streaming platform revealed in July 2025 that South Korean actor Byeon Woo-seok will play the lead role of E-rank hunter Sung Jinwoo. In another, it was revealed that he will be joined by fellow South Korean actress Han So-hee in the series. It is rumored that So-hee will play the role of the only female S-rank hunter, Cha Hae-in. The series will be directed by Lee Hae-jun and Kim Byung-seo, who have previously worked on successful projects such as Castaway on the Moon, Like a Virgin, My Dictator, and more. The Solo Leveling anime debuted in January 2024, and its second season won big at the 2025 Crunchyroll Awards.
