) - The City of Mobile is sponsoring an ordinance scheduled to be introduced at this Tuesday’s Mobile City Council concerning solicitation.
Sec. 55-102. - Prohibited acts. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in Solicitation: a. On private property located within the city: i. If the Solicitor refuses to leave the private property when requested by the owner, tenant or lawful occupant of the property; or ii. b. If the owner, tenant, or lawful occupant has asked the person not to solicit on the property or has posted a sign clearly indicating that solicitations are not welcome on the property.
