Deputy Chief Minister Wilfred Madius Tangau informing Sabah Oxygen general manager Lai Teck Yun of the federal government’s approval for his company to operate during the movement control order period.
Tangau, who is also state trade and industry minister, said Sabah Oxygen Sdn Bhd had found it difficult to operate at full strength previously due to logistical setbacks in view of the MCO. “However, Sabah Oxygen has provided about 80% of the oxygen cylinders needed, although it is not obliged under its contract to do so,” he said after a meeting with Sabah Oxygen general manager Lai Teck Yun yesterday.
